GemaSolar JSummer Fashion Show – July 2015

Paloma Sanchez revealed her two newest collections – Roots and the Imperial collection featuring Kingfisher Feather Art – at the GemaSolar JSummer Fashion Show hosted by the famous Jessica Minh Anh, against the most spectacular solar landscape. In a novel background saluting the junction of luxury and eco-energy, models strutted on a catwalk through thousands of grand reflective solar panels.

Fashion Week may be fabulous, but it pales in comparison to Jessica Minh Anh’s history making catwalks at the most iconic venues in the world.

This break-through event blended the lines between art, fashion, energy, technology, and Mother Nature. GemaSolar, symbolizing clean energy and eco-friendliness, stunningly complemented the essence of the JSummer Fashion Show and the personality of the organizer, Jessica Minh Anh, and provided the perfect setting to reveal Paloma Sanchez’s newest collections, which have intertwined luxury jewelry design and gemstones in their natural beauty. The Collection was paired with one of a kind flowing dresses by fashion designer, Mrs. Ellen Barron.

The Imperial Collection incorporates traditional antique Chinese jewelry pieces from the Qing Dynasty, made from the amazing bright blue feathers of the tiny kingfisher bird, and juxtaposes it with specimen gemstones and Paloma’s modern jewelry design. The Tian Cui jewelry pieces featured in these designs belong to private collections of two friends of Paloma, Mrs. Rey Huang from Taiwan, and Mrs. Christa Cui from Beijing.

Spanish sensation Paloma Sanchez, who has travelled the world to search for the most precious stones, will showcase a luxurious and colourful collection. Heavily influenced by the Chinese culture and its devotion to perfection, the jeweller blends Oriental charm and European sophistication to make all women feel like royalty.

The Roots Collection showcases the most unusual collector gemstone specimens, preserved in their natural shape as a tribute to Mother Nature and her perfection.
“Luxury means unusualness, exclusivity, beauty, and perfection; only Mother Nature can offer us all of this,” Paloma Sanchez said regarding her Roots Collection.
