Brand Policy

Our founder and CEO, Ms. Paloma Sanchez, hand-selects each gemstone to create one-of-a-kind jewelry that is nearly impossible to replace. Please also note that stones, despite their seemingly indestructible nature, can crack or chip with a small accident or strenuous wear. Even diamonds, one of the hardest natural materials on earth, may chip or fracture if struck at the right angle. For these reasons, we kindly ask for your understanding and adherence to the following Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry regarding returns and repairs.


IN-STORE POLICY FOR JEWELRY ON SALE

At Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry, we take the utmost care in ensuring a safe and refined experience when our clients view and try on our creations in-store. To protect each one-of-a-kind piece, our sales associates kindly request that clients handle only one item at a time and return it to the tray after viewing.

If a piece is dropped or damaged due to improper handling, Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry reserves the right, after assessment, to request full payment for the damaged item. Your understanding and cooperation help us preserve the integrity of these exceptional works of art.


RETURNS

1. In-store and online purchases may be returned for exchange or store credit within 7 days. Sorry, no refunds.

Customer is responsible for return shipping charges and insurance. Store credit is valid for THREE months and may be used toward future purchases through our online shop or any of our stores in Beijing.

2. Returned items must be in original, undamaged condition and must be accompanied by the original receipt and original gift box.

3. A service charge will apply to any item that was sized or altered to the customer’s specifications.

4. There are no returns or exchanges on any custom-made or specially ordered item.


LAYAWAY-DEPOSITS

Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry, may, at its own discretion, authorise the purchase of a piece of jewelry under the placement by the customer of a deposit (30% to 50% of the total amount). The piece will then be reserved and held for a maximum of 30 days. During this period, the customer should pay the full amount before picking up the jewelry. Deposit is non-refundable. If, after this period of time, the customer does not fulfill the payment, the reserved piece of jewelry will be put for sale and the customer will lose his/her rights on it.


CRAFTSMANSHIP WARRANTY ON NEW PURCHASES

The best way to safeguard your one-of-a-kind Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry is through regular inspection, proper maintenance, and strict adherence to the specific care guidelines for your gemstones and precious metals. Please note that all maintenance and repairs resulting from normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly.

Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry is pleased to repair defects in craftsmanship at no cost to the client, except in the following cases:

  1. Damage Due to Negligence or Improper Use
    If damage is caused by negligence, misuse, or excessive wear, such as the loss of a gemstone due to bent, damaged, or worn prongs, Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry is not responsible for stone replacement or prong re-tipping. Likewise, damage caused by accidental dropping or impact is not covered.

  2. Third-Party Repairs
    If any repair, alteration, or adjustment is performed by another jeweler, Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry Craftsmanship Warranty will be rendered null and void.

  3. Loss of the Center Stone
    The loss of the center stone is not covered under the lifetime workmanship warranty. Such loss may, however, be covered under the client’s homeowner’s insurance policy.


MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS

Each piece of Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry can be restored to reflect the beauty it held on the day of purchase. Precious metals may be refinished and polished back to their original luster, while many gemstones can be re-cut or re-polished to recover their brilliance, and further secured through necessary prong work or clasp replacement.

Beyond renewed beauty, professional restoration also restores your confidence for everyday wear. Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry offers a comprehensive range of repair services, including stone setting, pavé replacement, prong reinforcement, and clasp replacement, provided at competitive rates.


SILVER GOLD PLATED ITEMS

Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry is pleased to offer a complimentary “gold-plated silver cleaning kit” with every gold-plated silver item purchased, regardless of value.

Should the gold plating naturally fade over time, we will provide one complimentary re-plating service for any item originally purchased from Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry. All domestic shipping costs within China will be fully covered by us.
