Tektite from China
Tektite charms me because it has so much cosmic mystery. Its rock-like material is actually glass formed by the tremendous impact of ancient asteroids hitting the earth. Although asteroids have hit the earth many times, amazingly there are only five regions, spread across the globe, where tektite has formed. My jewelry pieces below showcase tektite from China.
